  • Mazel Match is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old, identifies as Jewish, and is seeking a romantic partner.

    Mazel Meet is open to anyone who is at least 21 years old, is willing to attend events in the DC metro area, and is seeking a romantic partner.

    We strive to be inclusive of all people who meet that criteria.

  • The vast majority of people signed up for matchmaking live in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.

    If you live somewhere else but are open to dating outside of your location, you are welcome to sign up! We are also happy to recommend services local to you.

    Note that Mazel Meet events are currently only scheduled in the DC metro area, so we do not recommend filling out the form to join the events database if you live elsewhere.

  • There’s a one-time $54 fee to get started, which covers your comprehensive intake. This step not only helps us get to know you but also demonstrates your commitment to engaging in this intentional dating journey.

    After that, there are no required fees to receive matches. This is a mission-driven project, and we believe meaningful connection should be accessible. That said, we do encourage support—through tips, thank-you gifts, or ongoing contributions—if you're in a place to give. Your generosity helps sustain and grow this community-driven initiative.

    If you’re just interested in receiving invitations to curated dating events, it’s free to complete the brief sign up. Only pay for the experiences you choose to attend.

  • Fill out the interest form and you will receive a welcome email with instructions. The next steps are to pay the intake fee, fill out the intake form, and schedule your intake call.

  • Once you complete the intake process, you’ll be considered for matches as we find potential connections that feel meaningful and aligned. When we identify someone we think could be a good fit, we’ll introduce you both via text. Everyone you’re matched with has gone through the same process and agreed to our community guidelines, so you can trust you're connecting with someone who’s dating with care and intention.

  • There’s no set timeline or guaranteed number of matches—this is an intentional and thoughtful process, with a quality-over-quantity approach. Frequency of matches varies depending on who’s in the pool and what you're seeking.

    We don’t believe in matching just to match. We want to introduce you to people where there’s genuine potential for connection. A lot happens behind the scenes—we’re always keeping you in mind and looking out for possible connections.

  • You should sign up if you're looking for something more intentional than swiping and more affordable than traditional matchmaking. Signing up means joining a thoughtful, intentional community of people who are genuinely seeking connection. You’ll get a comprehensive intake, personal attention, and the possibility of meaningful matches.

    A matchmaker gives you access to people you might not otherwise meet—and who are handpicked for you based on a deep understanding of who you are and the connections you want. You might even connect with someone you’ve crossed paths with before but hadn’t considered in a romantic light.

    Dating can be isolating and draining . We’re here to help lighten the load, offer guidance when you need it, and cheer you on along the way. You don’t have to do this alone.

    Plus, you’ll be considered for our intimate, curated events and have the option to access extra support—like date debriefs or expanded outreach—if and when it feels right.
